Does this product feel like it rewards the user's time, or is time viewed as a cost?

Users rarely say a product wastes their time. They show it: through fatigue that builds over a session, through inputs they stop trusting once they've learned them, through belief that output doesn't match performance. My research is built to catch those signals before they turn into drop-off or complaints by measuring not just whether users can complete a task in time, but how that task feels the hundredth time versus the first.

Time is one of the clearest signals a user can give, and it's one of the easiest to miss...

I use qualitative research to explore the user experience and identify potential issues with the product.

Surveys, interviews, user personas, usability testing, and focus groups all surface the same kind of signal: where does time on this product feel earned, and where does it feel wasted?

As a mixed-methods researcher, I select methods based on the research question, the product's objectives, and development constraints.
